Dr. Jenny Luke


Dr Jenny Luke was born in Gastonia, North Carolina and raised in New Orleans. She performed her undergraduate studies at Boston University in Massachusetts and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism. After moving back to New Orleans and working as a zookeeper at the Audubon Zoo and as a veterinary assistant for Dr. Rich at West Esplanade Veterinary Clinic and Bird Hospital she decided to return to her true passion of veterinary medicine. In 2005, Dr. Jenny met her future husband and moved to Baton Rouge where she received her DVM from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012 and graduated in the top 25 percent of her class. Dr. Jenny is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association (LVMA) and Southeast Louisiana Veterinary Association (SLVA). Her areas of interest include small animal medicine and surgery, dentistry, dermatology and geriatric medicine.

Dr. Jenny and her husband, Fletcher, have a daughter named Ellis, a son named Miles, two rescued mix breed dogs named Betty and Agatha, and three chickens (Lightning Bolt, No Name and Sally). In her free time, Jenny continues to explore the great city of New Orleans with her family enjoying all of its’ great food, live music, outdoor activities and the Saints!
