Dr. Jenny Luke was born in North Carolina and raised in New Orleans. She performed her undergraduate studies at Boston University in Massachusetts and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism. After moving back to New Orleans and working as a zookeeper at the Audubon Zoo and as a veterinary assistant for Dr. Rich at Avian and Exotic Hospital of Louisiana she decided to return to her true passion of veterinary medicine. Dr. Jenny received her DVM from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2012 and graduated in the top 25 percent of her class. After working at a clinic in Baton Rouge for four years, Dr Jenny was excited to move back home to practice in New Orleans.
Dr. Jenny is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association (LVMA) and Southeast Veterinary Medical Association (SVMA). Her areas of interest include small animal medicine and surgery, dentistry, dermatology and geriatric medicine.
Dr. Jenny and her husband, Fletcher, have a daughter named Ellis, son named Miles, two rescued mix breed dogs named Betty and Agatha, and two chickens named Sally and No Name. She enjoys continuing to explore New Orleans with her family, enjoying its great food, live music and outdoor activities.
